The third day of traveling to Abhajan. The party now enters the desert, encountering a lost lion cub on the way to investigate the mysterious flashing lights in the middle of the desert.

+1 Potion of Healing, Charlie made w/ herbs that Nasima found

Camel Essence is used to transform the horses into camels.
Nasima traded away spices in exchange for information on the flashing lights and the desert.

The group all wish to go investigate the flashing lights (except Charlie). Elia has brought up the concern that it may be a distress signal.
Nasima shares hallucinogenic cactus with group. Charlie and Nora abstain
- Sakchai makes sleepytime cactus tea for everyone who isn't abstaining.
Casimir meditates overnight and receives the message "OFF", as in something is 'turned off'.
Nasima adopts a lion cub and names him Saguaro. Everyone is enamored with him.
- The day after, the cub is reunited with his pride. The lioness mother did a slow blink, saying 'protect'.
The party dined at a settlement.
- That night, Thandi had a night terror that woke up everyone. She reveals she is out of her potion, which keeps the terrors away.
- After much discussion, Sak-chai offered sake; Nasima offered their night terror home-made solution; Charlie decided to monitor her sleeping patterns; Elia asked to help care for her; Casimir and Nora both spoke out about Vitani's negligence.
